What a great post. I couldn’t agree with you more… People don’t buy WHAT you do, they buy WHY you do it.

I had the privilege to listen to and meet Simon at a marketing event in Las Vegas back in 2010. The guy knows his stuff.

I was inspired by her story and frequently use it to demonstrate a never give up attitude. Between her and the Sylvester Stallone story of getting Rocky launched, it is the perfect example of no matter how many knocks you get, just keep picking yourself up. Very inspiring! I’ve never been a fan of the Harry Potter series, but I’m certainly a fan of this story. I think it’s terrific how J K turned her life around so quickly. It inspires me to want to do the same. Thanks for sharing.

It’s interesting as there are many people who experience knock’s and some failure in their life before hitting true success. I think it’s important we all learn from them and life is much more interesting this way.
