We were recently training at an event on how we had built our six figure business and thought you might like us to share with you the six ways to build relationships and have people like you and buy from you.
We might live in a digital age where you think it’s not so important but truthfully it is and always will be. Ignore it at your cost.
You see, people don’t buy your products or your opportunity or your business. They buy because they like you and there is a relationship between you.
If you are always “SELL SELL SELL” in your conversations, your emails, your blog posts, your social media updates etc then don’t expect to grow your business. It’s the value you give, caring you show and the relationship building which matters the most.
This really is the thing that most newbie entrepreneurs miss because they’re so keen to “get the sale or get the lead” We can tell you from our experience learning and applying what we’re sharing with you here in the six ways to build relationships is the secret to success.
The Six Ways to Build Relationships (And Have People Like You)
- Become genuinely interested in other people
- Smile (even as you write)
- Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language
- Be a good listener and encourage others to talk about themselves
- Talk in terms of the other person’s interests
- Make the other person feel important – and do it sincerely!
