Waiting For Someday
This weekend we celebrated our second week living in Spain
And know for sure that if we had waited for ‘someday’ it would never have happened
Without our online business that gave us our freedom to live and work anywhere we chose
Which is why we’ve put our thoughts together for you to read and let us know what you think 
Because not everyone knows our story especially if you are new to our blog
So here goes…
Back in 2009 we had to find a way to re-build our pension pot as we’d lost a lot in the 2008 worldwide crash and we were actively looking for ways to generate income that wasn’t time for money as being self employed accountants and management consultants we really didn’t have any more time
We remember us attending an internet marketing event and listening to a range of speakers explain all these different ways you could make money online…
(Maybe you’ve done something like that too?)
The upshot of the weekend for us was that it was possible to build a business online…
Something we’d never done before
‘Someday’ wasn’t in our vocabulary
So we took a chance and bought an online “business in a box”
And the guess what?
It sat on the shelf for 9 months…
The timing wasn’t right, life got in the way, stuff happened as it does for everybody
So we know what it’s like
But it still amazes us that there are so many people who follow us on social media or maybe like you, on our email list and have been there for years…
Interacting with our content, open our emails and even have conversations with us
And for that we thank you 
We know there are many feelings that people have when looking to do something new online
Because we’ve felt them ourselves
So let’s get them out in the open shall we?
Overwhelm/Confusion
You feel overwhelmed and confused with all the information out there, the different types of business, the different ways of marketing and all the “gurus” telling you their way is best.
Fear of getting it wrong
Are you fearful of getting it wrong…listening to that little voice in your head saying “you shouldn’t be doing this”…because you’re afraid it won’t work?
Too old
You think you’re too old to do something new and learn some new skills? You feel it’s too late for you to be a winner?
Technophobe
Are Are you worried you don’t have the technical skills for this internet thing?
Never done anything like it before
You’ve never done anything like it before so you have questions…
”Does it Work?”
“Can I Do It?”
“Will it work for me?”
“Will you help me?”
You don’t know who to trust
You know you need to find someone to help you but don’t know who to trust
Procrastination
You’ve been looking at this online thing for a long time, you’ve signed up for a few things but not yet committed to anything…you know you can do it but your doubts are holding you back
What will my friends and family people think
You worry about what other people will think and say about you starting this “online thing”
If you relate to one or more of the above you are not alone but let us tell you none of them are the real problem…they are all just symptoms
You see, 15 years ago when we started out we had all the same fears, doubts, frustrations and worries but once we’d made a decision to take the next step it all went away
And we know it can be the same for you
