This is a personal review of The Roadmap.

We’re passionate about online business education and have been since we began our journey in 2010

We purchased what was known then as “A Business In A Box”

A box of materials on the various aspects of starting and running an online business.

It was seeing  the potential of selling education and training materials that led to us giving up our management consultancy business and starting a business online selling knowledge.

Over the years we have sold information and knowlege packaged in various ways for anything from $10 to $10,000 and more.

But that came from investing in education, mentorship and higher level training.

It’s not something that happens overnight.

Having promoted a number of education and training programs over the years we were looking for something that would compliment our business and offer much needed digital marketing education.

Enter The Roadmap To Riches

Now we’ll be honest the name didn’t sit well with us but during our research and due diligence we found out the name was changing to The Roadmap

So we decided to invest $497 and our time to go through The Roadmap and see if it was as good as others were saying (we put our money where our mouth is!)

We were looking for something that our market – those in or approaching retirement would be able to have as their digital marketing classroom as it really doesn’t matter whether your business is talking about widgets or health and wellness…

If you are not able to attract customers and market your business then you don’t have a business.

We’re pleased to say that what we found inside was just what we were looking for.

A well structured digital marketing education platform and a supportive community there to answer questions if you get stuck.

We’ve included what you get inside the program here so you can see for yourself and decide if this is what you are looking for.

So we can confidently say that The Roadmap does what it says – provide education that will elevate your online presence and a supportive community that we have tested out and can confirm that yes people do really and truly help one another out so you are never alone.

Is The Roadmap For A Newbie?

Truthfully, entrepreneurship is not for everyone. It takes a mindset shift to enter the world of entrepreneurship.  We know because we had to go through it and subsequently wrote the book The Mindset Shift

But if you are going to do it then there is no better place than a community of likeminded people where you are given the tools and resources to overcome  the most common barriers that entrepreneurs face when trying to launch their online business from home…

It is self study (with a supportive community) so if you are good with that and willing to follow the plan and work at your own pace this is a good place to start and obtain the education you need to do well in whatever field you are pursuing in your business.

It is categorically NOT some “get rich quick” opportunity and if that is what you are looking for it’s not for you!

We’ve been caught up in that kind of “hype” over the years and whilst some people will sell it based on getting rich quick please do not buy into that!

The MRR Thing

Let’s talk about the “elephant in the room”

MRR stands for Master Resell Rights and we’ve talked about this in length in another post

This concept has been around for a very long time and we’ve previously sold education and training products with this kind of license

It’s one of the attractions of The Roadmap and many people who have purchased the program have bought it with the sole intention of selling it on.

Now there is nothing wrong in that at all

However you should be aware that trying to sell what is effectively a high ticket product without taking marketing training is likely to end in tears

Sorry we need to be truthful here

If you want to sell the program on  Tik Tok you need to go and do the training on Tik Tok.  If you want to sell the program on social media (Facebook, Instagram etc) you need to do the training on marketing on social media etc

We’ve seen far to often people try to shortcut the process and get upset that they have little or no success.

That being said, The Roadmap provides excellent step by step training on how to put your own Roadmap funnel together using a free software called systeme.io

And there’s even a done for you funnel you can work on with a few tweaks if that is your reason for purchasing The Roadmap  (this is our example of this)

So overall would say that whether you are looking at The Roadmap for digital marketing education or to create an online income selling the MRR you have a good program in your hands if you are prepared to put the time and effort into using the resources and it’s definitely a good alternative to affiliate marketing.
