Everyone Was Once A Beginner : The actual quote is “Every Expert Was Once A Beginner” and was attributed to an actress called Helen Hayes who was an actress and one of the first to be awarded and Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony.  If anyone became an expert at their craft it was Helen Hayes

For us the phrase is a very important one because we know that to be an expert at anything you need to master the skills required and in some instances that can take months and even years …. we talk about this in our video recorded on the ski slopes of France where our young grand-children aged 3 1/2 and 5 have just had their very first skiing lesson (and they loved it)

Whether is is starting a new hobby (like skiing), a new job or becoming an entrepreneur, success doesn’t happen overnight and we shouldn’t expect that it will

We must start with baby steps and fall over a few times to get to being the expert we want to be!

Sadly, in our experience common sense is thrown to the wind in the online entrepreneurship world and people with no skills or experience of this world expect to be experts overnigh.  We know this because we thought we would too … we knew we would have to master new skills however so our time frame was not immediate!

That being said, master new skills we did and just like skiing it was one step at a time, one lesson at a time.

So that’s our message to you reading this post today.

Be adventurous, learn a new skill and very soon you will become the expert you want to be.
