How To Develop An Abundance Mindset
Many years ago when we created our very first website we remember sharing a quote by Henry Ford on the subject of having an abundance mindset which went like this “whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right”
At the time we were just starting out in our online business but we knew what we wanted and we were determined to achieve it and that quote really resonated with us because we truly believed an abundance mindset was important.
Things like…
If you believe you can build a successful business, you’re far more likely to achieve your goals than if you set out believing you’ll fail.
If you believe you can achieve your ideal lifestyle, you have a much greater chance of living the life of your dreams
“whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right“
Are you the kind of person to whom the glass is half full or half empty?
The benefits of an abundant mindset are that you believe that you can achieve anything and everything you set out to do.
The glass half empty or half full represents your mindset and thinking
What Is An Abundance Mindset
An abundance mindset is the belief that there are enough resources in the world for everyone and having gratitude for whatever the universe provides
People with a scarcity mindset focus on unfulfilled needs – that others have things they don’t.
People with an abundance mindset focus on what they already have and happy with that meaning they experience already the many benefits of gratitude and can make better decisions and plan for the future.
You celebrate others’ success
You give back
You live in the present
We live in challenging times right now and bearing that in mind life will never go as planned. There will always be undesirable surprises. Change is inevitable, and we must learn to embrace it. The potential for transformation is present in every change life throws our way, whether or not we choose to embrace it.
If you can focus on adopting an abundance mindset and on what you can be grateful for and learn how to express gratitude under difficult circumstances, you build an abundance mindset into everything you do.
It’s not always easy but practice makes perfect
We find a way to overcome self-sabotaging beliefs, and put yourself in a positive mindset works best by making a list of things you’re thankful for or have achieved
It totally changes the dynamic of your mindset
Every time you hear yourself have a closed or negative thought, swap it out for an open abundant thought
Just try it and see how you feel 🙂
